In 1900 she was sent from Hobart to join- the Presentation community, then established in Queenstown.  Here she laboured for a few years, and then returned to Hobart, where, In 1905, she was made Superioress of St. Mary's Convent.  In 1911 she removed to Launceston, and here she carried out duties until a few months ago. She was beloved by all who came In contact with her, for from her great heart there flowed a constant stream of charity and cheerfulness to all those around her. She was an indefatigable worker, and wherever she worked her bright smile shed sunshine on the little ones, whose affections she won, while she never lost an opportunity  of instilling into their young hearts lessons of solid piety.
