                                                                                          Death of B.H. Nun
                                                                                          Solemn Requiem Mass for Sister Mary Paul, who died at the Lane Street Convent of Mercy on Saturday night, was celebrated in the Cathedral at 9 a.m. today. Sister Paul, who was one of the pioneer Sisters of the Broken Hill community, spent most of her religious life teaching here. She was 86 years of age. Four years ago she celebrated her diamond jubilee as a Sister of Mercy.  Sister Mary Paul came from a family who gave several of its members to religious life. Pupils and teachers from the Convent of Mercy and Marist Brothers' Schools, as well as representatives of the various church sodalities attended the Mass today. The funeral left the Cathedral after the Mass,
                                                                                          about 9.50 a.m. for the Catholic Cemetery. Baker and Woodman had charge of the arrangements.

                                                                                          SISTER MARY DE PAZZI.

                                                                                          Sister Mary de Pazzi, one of the oldest members of the Sisters of Mercy of the Monte Sant Angelo community, died at the convent, Church Hill, on Monday.   She was a member of the Heaton family, well known throughout the State.  She Joined the Sisters of Mercy about 50 years ago, and since then had been actively engaged in teaching In the schools conducted by the order in Sydney.

                                                                                          DEATH OF A NUN.
                                                                                          FOUNDRESS AND SUPERIOR OF THE SISTERS OF MERCY IN AUSTRALIA.
                                                                                          Sydney, Monday.
                                                                                          The Superior of the Sisters of Mercy at Singleton, the Very Rev. Mother Stanislaus, and the foundress of the order in Australia, died on Saturday.    It was from Singleton that the Sisters of Mercy's Convent in Broken Hill was founded.

                                                                                          The funeral ot Sister Mary Alphonsus Wardell, for 36 years at Monte St. Angelo Convent, North Sydney, took place at Gore Hill cemetery.  The late Sister Wardell was the
                                                                                          daughter ot the late Mr. Edward Wardell, architect ot St. Mary's Cathedral, and died on Sunday at the Mater Misericordiae private hospital, North Sydney.  Prior to the 
                                                                                          funeral a requiem mass was celebrated at the convent church, Monslgnor Collins presiding.  At the graveside Father M'Guire (of Longueville) read a prayer, being assisted by Monsignor Collins and Father O'Brien (of Mosman)
