REV. MOTHER McLAUGHLAN.
The funeral of Rev. Mother Mary Berchmans McLaughlan took place on Wednesday from Mount St. Benedict's Good Samaritan Novitiate, Pennant Hills, to the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rookwood. Before the funeral, solemn office for the dead was sung by a choir of 80 priests, the cantors being Revs. W. O Flynn and E. Bond. Requiem Mass was celebrated by the Bishop of Bathurst (Dr. Norton), the deacon being Rev. Eric Dwyer, the sub-deacon Rev. Father Green, and the master of ceremonies. Rev. Father Cahill. Rev. Dr. O'Reilly (rector of St. John's College) delivered the panegyric, and prayers at the graveside were recited by Rev. E. O'Brien, assisted by Revs. C. Cahill and E. O'Dwyer.

SISTER MARY P. CARROLL.
Sister Mary Patrick Carroll, who died at the Rosebank Convent, Flvedock, recently, in her 90th year, was bom in County Kilkenny, Ireland, She came to Australia in 1869, and entered the Good Samaritan Order the same year, at the mother house In Pitt-street, Sydney. Subsequently, she was engaged in educational work at various convents of the order, notably at Manly and Fivedock, she was at the latter convent for more than 30 years. Her brother, the late Father Patrlck Carroll, O S B , was for many years connected with the archdiocese of Sydney, she was buried at Rookwood Cemetery, after a Requiem Mass at Rosebank Convent. Rev. conducted the service at the graveside, and was assisted by Father McNally, of Parramatta.

The Rev. Mother Mary Vincent Waring whose death occurred on Tuesday, was a member of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan Order for 48 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. Richard Waring, of Bathurst, where she was bom 68 years ago. Mother Waring was the Superior of Good Samaritan Convents at Coffs Harbour, Braidwood, Buckingham-street, city, and for a short period at St Benedict's, George-street West. She joined the Good Samaritan order in 1889. A Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Scholasticas, Glebe Point, the Mother House of the Order, on Wednesday morning, by the Very Rev. Dean J. J. Norris, who also officiated at the graveside in Rookwood Cemetery.
