DEATH OF SISTER MARY THOMAS.

Sister Mary Thomas diäd at the Convent, Barcaldine, on Tuesday, after a brief illness.  She was one of the best teachers in the school, and was greatly respected.  The funeral took place yesterday, and was one of the largest ever seen at Barcaldine.  It was attended by the Convent school children and all sections of the Catholic Church, including the Hibernians, and also by a number of the general public.  Rev. Fathers Mclhenny and Breen conducted the service at the graveside.  The deceased, who was 29 years of age, was born in Sydney, and took the veil at Rockhampton.
